The band played it's first show with Kurt at an intimate venue, The Dive Bar on Dec. 30/06 to all positive reviews. The 3 original members, Brett, Brent & Eric were very pleased and are currently booking more live shows for the new year. Jan. 5/07 - all music is done for the new CD. Just finishing up vocals and sending it off to be mixed. Check the U.R. Music page for the sneak preview song "Tainted Love", to be released on the CD. drums and bass are done for the new CD. The guys are working on guitar tracks as we speak. The CD should be out in Jan. Kurt & D are playing a west coast tour as MARKY RAMONE'S BAND! Nov. 07/05 - Regular Weekly Gig!! - The Rebels have a steady gig at The Dive Bar in Las Vegas every Monday night. It's on E. Trop in the Wal Mart/Guitar Center plaza. They will have celebrity guest players sit in with them every week. This is the place to hang out on a Monday night!! Great rock and roll and happy hour drink prices. The Rebels start early enough so you don't have to be out too late. Sept. 14/05 - New songs coming - The guys are currently working on the songs for Perris Records. I know it's been a while but they are getting done. Clips will be posted on the site this fall. Keep checking back as they're coming along great!! Jul. 31/05 - Kurt with YBR - Kurt will be on guitar this week with Yellow Brick Road performing everything from AC/DC to Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin. Wednesday at Santa Fe Station in Club Tequila and Friday and Saturday at Boulder Station in The Railhead. Shows are free! Mar. 15/05 - The Loving Dead signs with Perris Records - L.D. will be putting out a CD on perrisrecords.com this spring. The band is in rehearsal right now with Lez Warner of The Cult on drums. The 11 song CD will also feature Brent Muscatt from Faster Pussycat and Sean Koos from Joan Jett. Some of the unheard songs are: Never Die, All That you Are, The 6th Floor and She Makes It. Jan. 27/05 - Holy crap does the new band ever rock!! - The Rebels are kickin' ass all over Vegas with the new lineup. The Hurricane show was packed and the guys will be back there in April. The guys have been rehearsing and writing new material which they will be performing at their next show at The Crown & Anchor on Feb. 26th. Dec. 29 - Bringing in the new year - The Rebels will be playing more live shows in the new year so keep checking the TOUR DATES section of the site for locations in Vegas and L.A.. July 18 - Las Vegas radio adds song - We are happy to announce that 92.3 KOMP radio in Las Vegas has added Another Star from The Rebels new CD to the Sunday night home grown show. July 8 - Sean on guitar - The Rebels have searched hi and low for a guitar player that had enough balls and taste to play with them. Well they found him and his name is Sean Koos. Sean just moved to Las Vegas from New York City where he was a member of Joan Jett for over 10 years. As a veteran of the rock world, he's toured everywhere and adds a great style to the Rebel's. June 9 - CD FINALLY HERE! - All the hard work has paid off and the new Rebels CD is here! The debut CD called "The Ep" has hit the streets and is now available at their live shows or at WOW Superstore in Tower Records on W. Sahara starting June 15. April 8 - The Underground Rebels - Thanks god we found a name that isn't taken! Jet came along and snagged our name, Taste was taken by a band in the 70's. Now we have a name and it's here to stay. Coming soon: www.theundergroundrebels.com December 29 - NAME CHANGE - JET are changing their name, so if you have any suggestions e mail the band!! December 20 - finished recording new CD - Kurt and D have finished capturing all the music for the new CD and have passed on the work to Mike Sak who will be mixing the album! The name of the band will be changed and announced upon the CD's release. It will be a 5 song CD and the release party early next year will be the first place you can get it. Keep posted to the site for details. December 6 - new CD almost complete - Kurt & D are finishing up vocals on their last song for the new 5 song CD under the new unannounced band name. They are very excited as the bands new sound has expanded into something amazing. The CD will be ready for purchase in January. Keep posted to the site for details! September 16 - ROAD TRIP TO L.A. - Come on a road trip with the boys in the band to Hollywood and see them play live at Slim Jim's (Stray Cats) world famous Cat Club. August 3 - Jet is finishing up recording their new 4 or 5 song CD. They're working on vocals on never heard before songs. Mike Sak will be mixing the CD at Kill The Messenger studio. They'll be playing 2 sets there this time so don't miss this great event at the world famous CAT CLUB. May 1 - JET's new single "Rewind" is being featured on the opening and closing of the new Ultimate Fighting Championship pay per view event. March 5 - The New Single is Here! - Finally JET have new material for the radio. "Rewind" has a new sound and direction, so don't freak out cause it doesn't sound like Do It Again. It's already receiving a lot of attention. February 15 - JET on KOMP - Kurt and D will be live on 92.3 KOMP radio Las Vegas on Laurie Steeles Home Grown show. January 22 - NEWS - JET had a great show last night at the beautiful people hang out, The Palms Hotel & Casino. They performed new songs such as "Another Star" and "Goodbye" and ended up selling all their CD's. On another note, AMBUSHED on VH1 is getting Kurt a lot of attention and seems to be doing the band no harm to say the least. It's still going to air many times so keep looking on the GOO GOO DOLLS page on the site for air times and updates. January 16 - Shows - Well, it's been a while since JET have been out on The Las Vegas scene playing live but they're coming out of the studio to do some live intimate shows. December 18 - Ambushed air date! - I got a call from VH1 yesterday and the show I did a few months ago called AMBUSHED! will air on DEC. 27th at 10:00pm. On another note we had to cancel the Pink E's show on the 28th, but we're playing as The Limey Bar Stewards at The Joint in the Hard Rock on the 27th & 28th!! December 2 - Studio - JET is in the studio starting today with Mike Sak of Goo Goo Dolls fame. They are working on a demo for record companies and management so when the show Ambushed! on VH1 airs, JET will be ready for everything. The first single is called Rewind. November 9 - The Joint - Well the boys blew the doors off The Joint in The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night. There were over 1500 people and they we're all going nuts having a great time. There is such a lack of good straight ahead rock and roll in Las Vegas, that it was like a breathe of fresh air, said fans. The Al Miller Band got the place jumping opening up the night with great new rock and some amazing classics from AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. That morning the Limeys played live on KOMP radio. We'll have that song up on the site on the Limey page soon! October 15 - LOTS - Well there's so much going on right now that I don't know where to start. KISS phoned me the other day and D and I will be putting make up on some female models for KISS' appearance at the Drag race here in Vegas. Also we have been demoing new songs that will be on the website soon, so keep looking on the next week. We'll be doing alot of gigs before the new year so keep looking back to see where JET and The Limey's are playing. Here's a hint,, The Hard Rock Hotel, The Hurricane and more!! October 2 - L.A. Trip - Kurt and D went to L.A. for a meeting with VH1 and ended up at The Cat Club on Sunset on Sunday night. There was an all star cast of rock and rollers there that night jamming so D and Kurt got up and played Strutter and Rock and Roll all Night with Joe Leste (Bang Tango, B.C.) and the drummer from the Beautiful Cratures and brought the house down!! August 28 - SHOW REVIEW - The reviews are out and the Limey's are a hit!! They had a kick ass show at Spirits Lounge opening and closing for JET on the 24th playing all the British hits. Highlights of the night were My Generation & Tie Your Mother Down. Don't miss them there again at Spirits on Sept. 14th! August 15 - JET rocks PINK E's - The Pink E's show on August 10th was a kick ass show for JET! The e mails have been coming in from the fans and many new ones saying the band is better than ever and they can't wait to see JET again live. Dates are booked so check the TOUR DATES section!! August 7 - LIMEY DATE - DEBUT SHOW!! - The Limey Bar Stewards are doing their first show on Sept.7th at The Crown & Anchor on E. Tropicana. It's the Austin Powers Party and it's gonna be a blast!! July 29 - NEWS - **JUST ANNOUNCED!!** The last show JET did at PINKE'S was amazing so don't miss them there again on AUGUST 10th with THE BEAUTIFUL CREATURES. June 29 - NEWS - JET plays at PINK E's in Las Vegas with Lez Warner of THE CULT on drums. They perform their new songs, Believe, Pullin' Me Around and their recent favorite live hit, While I'm Away. These songs will be posted in the MUSIC section soon so keep checking back to hear them! June 24 - NEWS - JET are preparing for a great weekend of rock & roll! The guys are rehearsing new songs with a surprise special drummer!!! Don't miss JET this weekend at The BOSTON (Fri) & PINK E's (Sat), you won't be sorry. May 25 - PJ Party - JET put on a pajama party at The Spirits Lounge in Las Vegas. There were a lot of beautiful ladies in their PJ's and less, so needless to say it was a blast! The guys rocked out some of their new songs along with a few of their favorites by KISS, The Who and Cheap Trick. Thanks to everyone that showed up and partied in their pajamas with us!! May 16 - NEWS - The guys have been in the studio recording and mixing new songs. As soon as they are ready they'll be posted in the JET MUSIC section. Don't miss hearing them. May 11 - Spirits Lounge - JET performs at Spirits Lounge on Sahara and does a whole night of rock. It's a small but fun venue that JET could be performing at more in the future.
